The students from More Than Word CIC were delighted to see their new piece of art on display at The Turnpike Gallery Studio in Leigh today. The students use drama, music, dance, singing and creative arts to help to develop their confidence, express themselves and achieve their aspirations and the exhibition has certainly helped to do that. This is their third year of running.

The art piece is called 'The Sunshine of Our Lives' which has been created over the last few months by the students who attend More Than Words. They have worked on their pieces to produce their very own rays of sunlight, bringing them together to create the perfect sunshine. The artists are celebrating the brightness that comes into our lives when surrounded by love, friendship, warmth and happiness. An infectious dish served by the students in abundance.

The event was opened by Mayor Kevin Anderson with local councillors Pat Draper and Matt Dawber in attendance, supporting as always the new More Than Words project.
